are you a student looking for a design role?

Do you have lots of creativity and drive to spare? Maybe you’re a skilled visual storyteller? What if we told you there’s a way to work part-time, get some support from the coolest team in town and even get paid for it? Well guess what, this might be the role for you!

We’re looking for students with a love for design to join a new start-up from 3 SIDED CUBE called “Cube Academy”. Cube Academy is all about developing real-world products that people use, whilst giving you the support you need to excel… and boost your confidence. We do that too, sometimes.

what you'll be doing

So what’s the deal? Ideally, you’ll be at uni, at college or in sixth-form. We’d also need you to commit at least eight hours per week. Like with many things, the more the better!

Cube Academy is about getting the most talented people working together to build real products. This means you’re already highly skilled, but looking to gather more experience and exposure to real-life projects.

We love design. So we’re looking for people that love design too. (We know we’ve said that before, but come on, it’s kind of important!) You will have been designing for years and have a range of past designs to show us. Like in sport the younger you start and the more hours you train, the better. You should know your way around digital design tools and be a creative problem solver.

Strong experience in some of the below is required:

Photoshop

Illustrator

InDesign

After Effects

Sketch/InVision

what others have done

Dan joined 3 SIDED CUBE while completing sixth-form and became the creative driving force behind some huge projects including their American Red Cross blood app. He worked on big projects such as the initial pitch video for the Red Cross and the successful launch generating over $100 million in revenue. He was also the only creative invited to Apple's Cupertino HQ to work on two Apple Watch apps prior to the launch of the Apple Watch, alongside the likes of Instagram, CNBC and Slack.
Phill designed and built an app while at sixth-form that became the number 1 app in 30+ countries with over 18 million downloads, with work featured on BBC, NBC, Sunday Times and more. Phill went on to lead the entire product output at 3 SIDED CUBE and is now Head of Product Concepts at London-based Founders Factory.
